New series, “Uncomposed”, is releasing episodes

Making our own D&D Playlist - we'll be looking at a number of fantasy pieces and using music theory to see what makes them sound like fantasy.

In Episode 1, we ask the question: "What makes fantasy music sound the way it does?" We then take a look at the one of the most recognizable and influential fantasy scores in modern history: Howard Shore's work on the Lord of the Rings franchise.

“What constitutes fantasy music? When you think of a song you might hear in a fantasy setting, what are you thinking about? That's the first thing we need to address.”

Have you ever wanted to create your own music? Or are you interested in watching the process of music composition?

Music Theory and Composition for All skill levels

While this series will focus on composition from a more advanced skill set, we will be going over composition techniques for people of all levels of talent or skill. Stay tuned for more episodes of Making our own D&D podcast, more from the Uncomposed series, and other shows on our channel.

And stay safe out there.
